Granite Product Introduction
Granite,one of the main components of the earth’s crust, is an igneous rock formed by the condensation of magma below the surface. The main components are feldspar and quartz. The hardness of granite is 6-7 in Mohs and belongs to medium hard stone. Granite rubble is a commonly used building stone with high quality, which is hard to be eroded by acid base or weathering due to its hard texture. With high compressive strength, low crushing value, strong corrosion resistance and good asphalt adhesion, granite is generally recognized as the best materials used in the construction of road, railway and airport runways. With much hard porosity, granite can reduce the weight of the concrete, but it’s also hard when it is blended in concrete. At the same time, it has the advantages of sound insulation and heat insulation, so granite has become the high-quality aggregate of lightweight concrete in high-rise buildings. Granite stones can be used to make mortar and concrete according to different stone specifications.
Granite Technical Process
Generally, the crushing production process of granite can use two-stage crushing. The first stage is the jaw crusher. Firstly, the granite is sent to jaw crusher uniformly by vibrating feeder for coarse crushing. The second stage is impact crusher. After coarse crushing, the material is sent into impact crusher continuously and quantitatively by belt conveyor for further crushing. The marble/granite particles will be screened by vibrating screen to different grades. The circular vibrating sieve can be used to separate the different specifications of 1-2, 2-4 and 4-8. The material that meets the requirement will be sent to sand making machine to make sand. The unqualified material will be sent to impact crusher to continue to crush once again. Finally, the sand from the sand making machine should be cleaned by sand washer, and the finished product can be obtained.
