Molybdenum ore processing technology
Molybdenum metal is a very important metal, which is known as war metal. With high strength, high melting point, corrosion resistance, wear-resisting, so it is widely used in industry.
The processing technology of molybdenum ore mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding and ore dressing.
Firstly, the material is crushed in the process of production. Massive molybdenum ore is sent into jaw crusher uniformly by vibrating feeder through stock bin for coarse crushing. After crushing, the molybdenum ore is screened by vibrating screen and is sent to cone crusher by belt conveyor for secondary crushing. Then the molybdenum ore is sent into sand making machine for fine crushing.
Next step is grinding. The molybdenum powder of 0-12mm screened by vibrating screen is transported to ball mill uniformly for grinding and is sorted by spiral classifier. The unqualified molybdenum powder is sent to ball mill to go on grinding.
The final step is ore dressing. In the process of ore dressing, the molybdenum dressing method in our country is mainly flotation method. In the selection of molybdenum-containing ores containing micro amounts of copper, the process of partially mixed priority flotation is adopted. Now, China also collects molybdenum from copper and molybdenum ore. The common process is copper molybdenum mixed flotation, and then the separation of copper molybdenum and the selection of molybdenum concentrate.
